2. General information

We process personal data only insofar as this is necessary to provide a functional website as well as our content and services. The legal basis is generally Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR (performance of a contract or pre-contractual measures) or Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest), and, where consent is obtained, Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR.

3. Access data / server log files

When you visit our website, the hosting provider automatically collects and stores information that your browser transmits to us. This includes: IP address, date and time of the request, the page accessed, referrer URL, browser type and version, and operating system. This data is technically necessary to display the website and to ensure stability and security.

Legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in the secure and stable operation of the website). This data is not merged with other data sources.

4. Contact form and e-mail inquiries

When you contact us via the contact form or by e-mail, we process the data you provide in order to handle your inquiry. Via the contact form this includes in particular: name, e-mail address, company, country and the content of your message; optionally your area of interest. Mandatory fields are name, e-mail address and message.

The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR if the inquiry relates to the initiation or performance of a contract, otherwise Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in answering inquiries). After submitting the form you automatically receive a confirmation e-mail.

We store the data until your inquiry has been fully processed, unless statutory retention obligations require longer storage (e.g. § 257 HGB, § 147 AO – 6 or 10 years for business correspondence relevant to commercial or tax law).

5. Cookies and local storage

Our website does not use tracking or marketing cookies. We only use the technical storage of your browser (local storage) to remember your selected language. This storage is technically necessary to provide the requested function (§ 25 (2) no. 2 TDDDG); no consent is required and no data is transmitted to third parties.

We use the following service providers, with whom data processing agreements pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR exist:

Hosting – Vercel

This website is hosted by Vercel Inc., 340 S Lemon Ave #4133, Walnut, CA 91789, USA. Vercel processes the access data described in section 3 on our behalf in order to deliver the website.

E-mail delivery – Resend

Messages sent via the contact form (including the confirmation e-mail to you) are delivered using the service Resend (Resend, Inc., 2261 Market Street #5039, San Francisco, CA 94114, USA). The data you enter is transmitted to Resend for the purpose of sending the e-mail.

E-mail mailbox – Google Workspace

Our e-mail correspondence is handled via Google Workspace (Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland). When you contact us by e-mail, the content of the communication is processed there.

7. Transfer to third countries

Some of the providers named above (Vercel, Resend) are based in the USA. Where personal data is transferred to a third country, this is done on the basis of appropriate safeguards within the meaning of Art. 44 ff. GDPR – in particular the EU Standard Contractual Clauses and, where applicable, certification under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

8. Your rights

You have the right to information (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and to object to processing (Art. 21 GDPR). Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it at any time with effect for the future. To exercise your rights, please contact info@detertsander-trading.com.
