Amazon FBA supplier for imports from China

We supply one category: clothing and textile accessories as series production from 300 pieces per article. Not a general sourcing agent for any Amazon product. If your listing is electronics, homeware, or non-textiles, we are not the right supplier. For textile private-label articles, the minimum order and the quality control by our own team below apply. Finding a product on a B2B marketplace rarely fails. What fails comes later: the sample looks different from production, the supplier ships without inspection, the customs declaration is wrong, the shipment stalls at customs over a missing document, your listing runs out of stock. None of that is a product problem; it is the import process.

We handle that process for you. Manufacturer selection and verification, sample approval, quality checks by our own team during production and before loading, freight, customs clearance and delivery to your address. You stay responsible for what matters: product, listing, pricing and demand.

DS Trading is a German company based in Hamburg, and co-founder Felix Sander works in China with a whole team. That team knows more than 100 producers personally, among them manufacturers who make polos, T-shirts and hoodies themselves from cutting to packing. For a seller the last step often matters most: whether a factory packs every piece in its own polybag with a warning print and puts your barcode label in the right place is something our team can check on site straight away.

Your one European contact takes your article from the first enquiry to DDP delivery at your warehouse or prep service and makes it happen. Many sellers see importing from China as a black box; with us you can follow each step. We get in touch on our own and tell you openly when something is not going to plan, so you can adjust your restock before the listing runs dry. Delivery dates are calculated realistically, roughly 50 to 65 days by sea, about 15 days by air and usually about 5 days by express once production is finished, and we do everything we can to meet them.

Trust counts for more with us than anything else. You know us personally, and if there is a quality problem we call you straight away and come to see you. Our prices are usually below what you pay when sourcing yourself or through other sourcing agencies. We run the China step and the Germany step ourselves, take the cheaper option on each side and negotiate the best possible price with the producer, and your invoice comes from Germany.

If you order directly from a factory or via a B2B marketplace, you are the importer yourself. That means your own EORI number, the customs declaration, import VAT, tariff classification and every document customs asks for. If something stalls at customs, it is your shipment that is held.

With DS Trading this whole block disappears. We import the goods in our own name, clear them through customs and deliver DDP to your address in the EU. You buy from a German company under a German purchase contract and receive a German invoice, as you would from any domestic supplier.

We deliver DDP to an address of your choice in the EU. Most sellers have goods delivered to their own warehouse or a prep service first, because FBA inbound requires labelling, packaging and shipment plans tied to your seller account. We can also stage goods and deliver in batches so your inbound quantities match your sales.

Product-specific requirements like barcodes, polybag labelling or set packaging are agreed with the manufacturer before production, so goods arrive ready for your inbound process without rework needed in Europe.

An FOB price tells you little about whether a product works on Amazon. Our quote shows the landed cost per unit: product, freight, tariff treatment, import handling, optional insurance and delivery. Add marketplace fees, returns, storage and advertising to this consistent basis.

Tariff treatment depends on the exact product, material, construction and origin. We classify the article for the project and check applicable measures in the EU TARIC database before ordering – not a blanket percentage that might not fit your product.

The minimum order is 300 pieces, so a first test order does not have to be a full container. You pay 60% when the contract is signed and 40% once the shipping document is issued.

A listing that runs out of stock loses ranking, and ranking is expensive to buy back. Import lead time therefore belongs in your restock planning, not at the end of it. A realistic schedule has three blocks: production at the factory, transport, and clearance plus delivery in Europe. Sea freight typically takes several weeks, air freight is considerably faster at a higher freight cost. Our quote names the concrete lead time for your article including production.

The same two windows need attention here. Around Chinese New Year delays are more likely, so goods needed in spring should be ordered noticeably earlier. The run-up to Q4 works the same way, and freight capacity tightens on top of it. If a target date is only reachable by air freight, we tell you what that does to your landed cost before you order.

For running articles it is worth planning quantities in batches from 300 pieces: a test batch to validate demand, then a follow-up order timed so production and transport are already under way while the first batch is still selling.
