Quality control in China before production and shipping

We don't ship blind, and we don't vouch for goods on our word alone. Every order passes through a defined inspection system: our own team in China checks the goods during production and again after completion, before shipment, on site at the producer, against the approved sample and your specification, unless agreed otherwise.

Quality system

Two on-site checks before delivery

Before the series starts, we approve a physical sample. This release sample is not an inspection step, it is the reference against which our own team measures the two checks below.

Check during production

While manufacturing is under way, our own team in China checks the goods on site at the producer. This check catches deviations before the full batch is finished and protects your time and investment from costly corrections.

Final check before shipment

Once the batch is complete, our team checks the finished goods again on site at the producer, before shipment, against the approved sample and your specification.

We work with producers in China that we vet and visit before the first order, including a business licence check. These direct relationships are the basis for consistent quality.

Our producers are closer to our own generation: people who know their craft and get better every year. That is deliberate. A network that grows along with us gets better with every order, rather than being handed over in a few years.

On request we additionally cover every shipment with marine cargo insurance. Your goods are protected all the way from China to your delivery address.

Inspection basis

What is checked during quality control in China

An inspection is only useful when the acceptance criteria are clear beforehand. The written specification and the sample you approved form the basis. Depending on the product, the check covers dimensions, material, workmanship, colours, finishing, labels, packaging and the agreed quantity. Product-specific requirements are recorded before production rather than improvised at the end.

The check during manufacturing provides an early comparison while corrections are still possible. Our team then runs the final check on the finished goods at the producer before loading. Findings are compared with the approved requirements so that a decision can be made before the shipment leaves China.

Traceability

From approved sample to shipment

Quality assurance starts before the purchase order, with a manufacturer whose capabilities fit the product. It continues with sampling and written approval, the check during production and the final check by our own team before shipment. Keeping the same reference across all stages reduces misunderstandings between buyer, sourcing partner and factory.
